World AIDS Day: Our past struggle, a time to remember
Today, 1st of December, is the World AIDS Day. Sigurður Júlíus Guðmundsson has some thoughts on the disease...
Known by most people as Siggi or Sjúlli, depending on where you would meet him, Siggi has been involved in media and publications for over 10 years, ranging from doing a school paper to podcasts to television productions. A self proclaimed nerd and a jack of all traits, Siggi currently works in IT services while secretly plotting side projects on the side. A great believer in equal rights, Siggi also worked for a few years with the Queer organization of Iceland and took part in creating and publishing the queer newsletter Hýraugað for a short time. Having an endless span of interests there is nothing that doesn’t spark an interest and only time can tell where the road will lead in the future.
