Looking for a bloody good time this weekend? Then get ready, because this Saturday there will be plenty of Halloween parties to choose from in Reykjavík. These are the ones you absolutely shouldn’t miss.
Queer bar KIKI is already gearing up for its spooktacular party and manager Árni Grétar promises a house full of dancing zombies and other creatures. “Our friends are the most fun-loving, creative bunch you’ll ever meet, so you don’t want to miss out when they get the chance of going absolutely bonkers with their costumes,” he says with a huge grin. And though costumes are not mandatory Árni Grétar encourages guests to show up in wacky fancy dresses, explaining “that the winner of best outfit will get a special prize”.
KIKI’s party starts tonight on Saturday November the 1st at 11PM. DJ Glimmer will provide the party beats. Ballantines Brazil on offer all weekend.
Rubin will be transformed into a house of horror on Saturday, when pop sensation Paul Oscar hosts his annual Halloween party. “We started decorating on Tuesday and are turning the place into a vampire castle ,” he explains in an interview on Visir.is. Stating that when it comes to partying, nothing comes close to a good Eurovision or Halloween party in his mind. And to make sure everybody else has as much fun as he does, he not only intends to DJ but also perform live many of his biggest hits. In not one, but three different outfits!
Paul Oscar’s Halloween party begins Saturday November the 1st at 11PM. Costumes not required. Free make-up application by professional make-up artists. Tickets here.
