[dropcap4]I[/dropcap4]t was made known earlier tonight in Antwerpen, Belgium that Miami, Florida has been chosen over Reykjavík city to host the World Outgames in the year 2017. “Both cities have a lot to offer the world’s LGBT sportspeople. We’re excited to be heading to Miami Beach – it promises to a fantastic sporting event,” said Dean Richards, Chair of London’s Out For Sport organization. Like all good sports we here at GayIceland would like to congratulate the Miami team and wish them the best of luck. No, seriously, we do 🙂
