Icelandic pop-diva Hera Björk will be singing this year’s Reykjavík Gay Pride song.
The song, Feel the Love Tonight, is quite a catchy dance number written by musician Örlygur Smári, the man behind Eurovision smash hits like This is My Life and Je Ne Sais Quoi.
The latter song gave Europe it’s first real glimpse of the diva herself in 2010. Since then Hera Björk has been busy touring Europe and America causing a commotion on the gay scene. Therefore there was a lot of excitement when news broke out that the diva would be performing one of the main numbers at Reykjavík Gay Pride 2011.
Mind you, Hera Björk won’t be performing on her own at Gay Pride. Renowned singer/artist Haffi Haff will be at her side so the audience is in for a double treat!
