Eurovision superstar Dima Bilan is currently in Iceland. The Russian, who was the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 with the hit song Believe, came to the country a few days ago, according to his Instagram account.
From the information on Dima’s social media, the singer seems to be staying in an apartment in Reykjavík but has ventured out of the city to see Iceland’s tourist attractions.
He posted a photo of himself by the world famous Icelandic waterfall Seljalandsfoss, dressed in a smart suit with a skin hat.
GayIceland doesn’t have any details on why Dima is in Iceland, whether he is on vacation or not.
Maybe he is resting his bones before heading to his homeland Russia, where he is to perform a solo concert in Omsk on April 3rd.
Dima has gained massive success, following his 2008 win in The Eurovision Song Contest, and has sometimes been referred to as the Russian Enrique Iglesias due to his similarity to the Spanish heart-throb.
He’s won numerous music awards, having for example been rewarded the title Best Russian Act seven years in a row at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2005-2012.
He has also joined the Russian version of The Voice as one of the mentors.
In the beginning of this year Dima premiered a new music video for his new single Monsters in your head (Monstry v tvoei golove).
The video is actually a mini horror movie and has been watched 1,5 million times on YouTube.
The dishy musician has also dabbled with acting, having dubbed critically acclaimed animated movies like Frozen and Trolls.
