Freyr Bjarnason is an experienced journalist, born and raised in the fishing- and football town, Akranes. He is passionate about music, sports and movies and wrote numerous articles about music during his 14 years time with Fréttablaðið, newspaper. He also loves playing cards with his three brothers and meets with them regularly, where they tell the same silly jokes and drink beer until two exciting rounds have been played.
