Yannis Bourdakis studied speech and language therapy in Greece and London and has been a professional speech and language therapist for ten years. In Iceland he worked as a personal assistance for people with disabilities. In the past he attended gay self-awareness groups in Greece to cope with everyday homophobia. Currently he is on the move back to Greece where Themis works as a screen writer for a Greek television series.
