Lecture on trans people’s right in Iceland and Lithuania, held at the University of Iceland today.
For the last two years Q – Queer Student Association has been working on a project about transgender issues with LGL, a LGBT organization in Lithuania.
From the 19th-22nd of March two representatives from LGL will be visiting and in light of their visit Queer Student Association will host a Queer study break at the University of Iceland, today Friday the 20th of March.
There will be a lecture on trans people‘s rights and current situation in Iceland and Lithuania where representatives from LGL and Q- queer student association will give a talk. The lecture will be in English and starts at 12.30.
The lecture will be held in classroom 102 in Lögberg.
