[dropcap4]J[/dropcap4]ón Gnarr, the mayor of Reykjavík, Iceland, is traveling off to Antwerpen in Belgium tomorrow where it will be made known which city will host The World Outgames in the year 2017.
Reykjavík and Miami have been shortlisted in bid to host the games. Rome and Rio de Janeiro were eliminated from the bidding process. Denver withdrew ahead of the shortlist announcement. The jury will announce the winning city on Thursday.
The World Outgames is run by the Gay & Lesbian International Sport Association (GLISA). The event in 2017 will be the fourth World Outgames event. This year sees it take place in Antwerpen.
