Up to 80 merry men from all around the world are heading Iceland’s way to take part in the four-day event Bears on Ice this weekend. Never before have so many showed up for the annual bear festival since it was first held in Iceland back in 2005.
Guests will be greeted with a program full of exciting events, including a welcome party at the Queer Center and party every night after that, a visit to the Blue Lagoon, the infamous Icelandic Phallological Museum and a trip through the Golden circle just to name a few. For many the highlight will probably be a men only party at Iðusalir, Lækjargata 2, Reykjavik, on Saturday which is also expected to draw in a big crowd of locals. Three DJ’s (including DJ Mikael Costa) will make sure everybody has a great time. Special guest will be none other than pop sensation Paul Oscar. More on Bears on Ice.
Tickets for the Saturday party can be bought at the Queer Center for 1.000 isk, and 1.500 isk at the entrance.
